Ukulele Beginners Workshop for Teens & Adults

Presented by the Tampa Bay Ukulele Society. Learn all about ukuleles...the different sizes, how to hold, tune, strum, play a few chords and some songs.

If you have a ukulele please bring it. If you don't TBUS will have a limited number of ukuleles available at the workshop (subject to availability).

Special Event! Musical Performance by Peter Fletcher

The classically trained guitarist began playing guitar at age 7, achieved a Master of Music degree from Eastman School of Music, and continued his musical aspirations to include numerous hall recitals, radio and television performances.

Major works will include Bach's Lute Suite No. 3, Paganini's Caprice No. 24, the Five Bagatelles by British composer William Walton, and the ever popular Leyenda and Cordoba by Spanish composer Isaac Albeniz. In addition, Peter will perform some of his original guitar transcriptions of French composer Erik Satie, as they appear on Centaur Records CRC 2731.
